Paintersource is a free website dedicated to bringing quality painters and quality workmanship to anyone who is looking to hire a painting contractor.

All painters are not created equal, and there is nothing more frustrating to anyone that an unprofessional paint job. Yet how do you find a great painter? Most directories and referral services you'll find online are simply yellow pages where anyone willing to pay for placement will show up.

Paintersource requires that it's painters have demonstrated a solid reputation for providing great workmanship, conducting themselves professionally and using high-quality products.

And we don't stop there, the painters on our lists can be rated and reviewed by their customers and any painter that doesn't maintain a certain rating level will be removed from the directory.

Paintersource was developed by a third-generation paint retailer who happens to have some web development skills. Day in and day out, we see painters who are buying inferior products unbeknownst to their customers. These painters do inadequate work and use low-quality products. But unfortunately they get away with it. This hurts good painters because it leaves customers with bad experiences and bad paint jobs with paint that doesn't hold up. We at PainterSource care deeply about the success of quality conscious painters and sees this as a way to help the industry overall.

The idea for paintersource started locally and now has grown into a national service.
